HELP.... im about to lose my mind
Ok so I have been vaping for about 2 weeks now and I'm not quite getting this down. I have tried and tried to keep up a decent amount of vapor but it seems after the first few drags off of a new cart the amount I’m getting seems to drop by 50-75% less. I have seen vids of people dragging these for 5 to 6 mins and getting strong vap the entire time.... I am trying to stay off of tobacco based cigs but I’m finding it harder to do as I keep getting frustrated by the lack of vapor I am able to maintain... Any advice you can give would be appreciated.
Thanks,
cMinor

I have the Volcano... Using standard pre filled cart. I do the twist and remove the foil from the atomizer "trick"... Just doesnt seem to work as well as I had hoped. I have cleaned the atomizers, tried using new ones.... cant think of anything else to try.

I'd suggest...
Obtaining some juice ( 24 mg) to start and keeping your cart topped off. Also try dripping a couple drops directly onto your atty. Make sure your cart filling is high enough in the cart to contact your atty bridge, even try flipping the filling around when the vapor drops off.
Just don't give up, you will find what works for you

You mention getting a different cart... where would one be able to order these carts from?

Empty 306 carts are available from a few different vendors-- I just placed an order for some more from Rocky Mountain Vapor. Looks like they have brown (natural), white, and black in stock:
http://shop.rockymountainvapor.com/category.sc?categoryId=15
Orders over $14 ship free. Some people report much better performance with 306 atomizers, but I haven't found that to be the case, myself, but if you'd like to try, RMV has them for $8 apiece.
I definitely have been having better luck with 306 carts, which I've been using for about a month-- last night I switched back to a standard (old-style) blu cart for testing a new liquid, and couldn't figure out why it didn't seem to be working very well, until I noticed which cart I'd grabbed. (This was with both kinds of carts stuffed with PET from Lipton Pyramid tea bags [commonly referred to as the "PTB mod"].)
The only caveat with the 306 carts: they ship with a rubber stopper so that after you fill them you can plug them up, so they don't dry out or leak liquid everywhere. If you want to use these stoppers in the carts and put the carts in the Pack, you'll need to slice off about a millimeter of the top of the stopper or the Pack won't close all the way. It's very quick and easy to do this with an Exacto knife. Personally, I haven't been using the stoppers, because I put a separate atomizer on every cart in the Pack, which works great, and you never have to worry about different flavours mixing in the atomizer.
Hope this helps!

Re: HELP.... im about to lose my mind
I had pretty good results with Johnson Creek's reduced-PG liquids, which use a bit of vegetable glycerine in the mix, but they still had too much PG (propylene glycol) in them for me-- I have a sensitivity to it, and also don't like the taste of PG. So I've switched to all-VG liquids, and the side benefit is that they produce MUCH thicker vapour. (Johnson Creek is working on an all-VG formulation again, and when they have it, I'll probably give it a whirl-- I miss their JC Original, their Tennessee Cured, and their Summer Peach the most.)
ECOpure is a very well-known VG-based liquid, and they keep the ingredients list down in hopes of keeping it healthier for your lungs (after all, no one really knows what inhaling all these flavourings does to us in the long term) and your atomizers-- fewer ingredients to gunk up the coil. I do like ECOpure very much, and it produces lots of vapour in a blu. I'm a particular fan of the Rich and the Menthol (and I'm not a fan of menthol cigarettes). ECOpure is made by Intellicig in the UK, and is available in the U.S. from InnoVapor and Cignot, and probably a couple of others.
I am a HUGE fan of Decadent Vapours VG mixes, but unfortunately they're not shipping right now because they're spending all their time making PG-based 36 mg/ml liquids for Totally Wicked. But when the store reopens, you should check them out. My favourite flavours from them are the Absinthe, the Parma Violet, and the Habana Reserve, and the Diabolo Loco is excellent, too, but so hot it's definitely only a "once in a while" sort of thing. I wrote a review of these flavours here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquid-reviews/38709-decadent-vapours-parma-violet-habana-reserve-absinthe-diabolo-loco.html
(The photo in my avatar, by the way, is me vaping some Decadent Vapours VG Absinthe on a blu with a 306 cartridge stuffed with PTB, so as you can see, vapour production with that combo can be very good.)
One more vendor of all-VG liquids is Vermont Vapor, though I haven't tried their stuff yet. Many people swear by them, though. They have a maple syrup/tobacco blend that sounds very intriguing.

My sketchy notes on my own personal method are in that original tips thread, here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blu-electronic-cigarettes/38546-new-blu-user-2.html#post599568
The basics are, buy Lipton Pyramid tea bags (any flavour), pull the string off one tea bag, cut along one seam with scissors, dump out the tea, and cut along the remaining seams to make a single long rectangle. Wash it under running water and dry it. Cut a long strip about as wide as the blu cartridge's inner cart is tall. Roll it up into a cylinder, cut lengthwise twice most of the way through to "shred" it (if desired), and place it in the inner cart in place of the original polyfill stuffing.
If you Google "ptb video lipton" you will find lots of videos of different ways to do it-- mostly for the 510, which has a much bigger cart, so you have to scale down appropriately. Most people use one tea bag to stuff two 510 carts; I can usually get four or five blu carts out of one tea bag.

Thanks
I seen a cartomizer adapter for that model. The 901 is 9.3mm and the capsules are 9.2mm so the width is right. How about the length? Are the capsules too long for the PCC?
